Folligraft is a non-surgical procedure that is
only performed by specially licensed and trained Folligraft technicians.
- Inversion technology allows
the new hair to be directly aligned to the scalp.
- There are no attachments because
there's nothing to attach.
- The hair implantation allows
the hair to rotate on a single axis, mimicking the movement and
turn of growing hair.
- The inversion, or reversal,
of the hair growing process enables the hair to lie flat to blend
perfectly with existing, growing hair.
Nigel
is an engineer from Lancashire, England who has spent considerable
time in both the United States and in India. Due to the fact that
he was suffering form hairloss himself. Nigel became intrigued by
the American hair restoration industry because it was very different
from what he found ay home. However, he found the products offered
to be somewhat lacking. So he began to develop a solution of his
own. Nigel studied the physiology of hair: hair rotates on a single
axis. The hair shaft, balanced on this axis, is buoyed by its own
weight and distance from the shaft's point of origin. That's what
gives hair its natural characteristics of bounce and movement.
The challenge was how to enable human hair to be implanted the
way hair grows. After much trial and error; the answer was Nigel
Petrie's inversion technology that directly aligns hair to the scalp
so it can retain the character of growing hair, without actually
growing.
It's this reversal, the inverse-or "inversion"-of the
growth process that makes the Petrie look so much like growing hair.
Nigel Petrie's hypothesis, that to actuate the look of hair growth
it was necessary to diametrically parallel hair growth, proved correct.
The proof can be found in any man who's had the Petrie Method performed.
With all it has going for it, the Petrie Method hoes have one major
drawback; it's not for everybody. To find out if you could be a
